Femme Fatal- The women in the mood board is wearing an expensive red dress portraying her as a dangerous character . Her dress is revealing portraying her as a seductive character. All the femme fatales in the mood board appear dark and mysterious , wearing red lipstick the red connotes danger, blood and lust. Some are also smoking which is a conventional prop for film noirs. The femme fatales are wearing a lot of make-up they look extravagant rich and deceptive.
Hero- The hero of the film is generally the protagonist of the film noir. Most images show a male dressed similarly to a detective, long trench coat, big hat to cover eyes (adds mystery) They also tend to have cigarettes to make them appear tough and civilized.
Villain- The villains in film noir tend to have guns to enhance the themes of crime and violence, the villains differ in all films sometimes they appear male, much like the protagonist hero dressed like a detective. However sometimes a typical convention of a film noir is plot twists and strategical storyline therefore often the femme fatal is the villain.
Please spell 'fatale' with an 'e'! Still simplistic Sophie, more detail, more denotation more 'this suggests' or phrases like this!
